In 1992 New Zealand Olive Pioneer Helen Clausen planted 400 Olive trees on a northeast-facing slope at 211 Reserve Road, to become North Canterbury’s very first commercial Olive Grove. 30 years later those original trees, now managed using organic practices by Glenn and Sarah Hughes, produce a delicious and luscious golden oil with a fresh and fruity flavour and a signature peppery finish.
